My Traveling Adventure to New Zealand, South Island
New Zealand. A place that will take your breath away.
We spent 15 days exploring the South Island and it exceeded all my expectations. We visited 7 different cities and some unexpected things happen but that is part of the adventure, right!?
As English is their official language of New Zealand, I found it much easier to meet locals and communicate than other countries I have been too.
I fell in love with their burgers, the landscape and how down to earth everyone was.
Here are a few of my favorite cities we went too!
Milford Sound was breathtaking and no place like it. We took a two-hour boat tour and were absolutely mesmerized by everything around us. We were a little nervous for the day because it was overcast but actually overcast is the perfect weather! We even got to see seals while taking the tour!
Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park
This was another one of my favorite places, the mountains were unreal and pictures did not do it justice. We climbed the Red Tarns track when we reached the top we saw the most beautiful scenery. If you ever travel to the South Island of New Zealand this has to be on your list of places to go.
I loved Lake Wanaka, unfortunately, I did not take enough photos. I was too busy kayaking, exploring the town and relaxing by the lake. Out of every town we had been to this was my favorite! They had amazing shops, restaurants but you could still enjoy outdoor activities as well! Definitely would recommend!
